LUMS MBA in FT Top 100

The Lancaster full-time MBA has returned to the Financial Times Top 100 global MBA programmes with a bang. In the latest annual ranking published on Monday 26th January 2004, Lancaster is the highest ranked new entrant, 69th out of 100, and 8th amongst UK schools.

Management School Dean, Professor Sue Cox commented:

"We are thrilled to be back where we belong, among the world's best. It was always an anomaly that a business school with such demonstrable excellence of faculty and students should not be ranked by the FT. This year's league table puts that to rights. We can now plan with confidence to progress into the top 50 in the near future."

Highlights of Lancaster's ranking are as follows:-

1st in the world for the diversity of its class, with just over half the class being women, and over three quarters being international students from Europe and elsewhere around the world.

17th in the world for Value for Money

6th in the world for the scale and quality of the doctoral programme

29th in world for Alumni career aims achieved

24th in world for international mobility of our alumni

31st in the world for the international experience gained by our MBA class during the programme.

This new ranking now means that Lancaster is ranked in the world's top 100 by both major European rankings, the Financial Times and the Economist (Which MBA? October 2003).

The MBA programmes are also accredited by AMBA, and the whole school is accredited by EQUIS.
