Honorary Degree for Lancaster Councillor

Abbot Clifford Bryning former Head of Management Studies at Lancaster and Morecambe College, has been a Lancaster City Councillor since 1967. Twice Mayor, he has held many responsibilities in the life of the City, representing it on the University's Council and Court under four Vice-Chancellors.

Lancaster University's Chancellor HRH Princess Alexandra presented Abbot Bryning with a Master of Arts at a Ceremony that took place on 10 July.
