Leverhulme Research Fellowship Award

Dr Aristotle Kallis, Lecturer in European Studies at Lancaster University, has secured a one-year Leverhulme Research Fellowship for 2005.

The £ 21,000 award provides for a replacement Teaching Fellow post which will enable Dr Kallis to complete his book - provisionally titled 'Fascism and Genocide', to be published by Routledge.

Dr Kallis is in the first year of his appointment at Lancaster, he joined the Department of European Languages and Cultures in September 2003 as Lecturer in European Studies, having come from the University of Bristol. He has also previously worked at Edinburgh University.
