A University delegation, including one of the University's founders , Lord Taylor Of Blackburn, flew to Malaysia on the 18th September to formally sign an agreement making Sunway University College in Kuala Lumpur an associated college.

When the programme launches in January 2007, Lancaster and Sunway will offer joint degrees in business studies, psychology and hospitality management, with more subjects to be added in the next few years. Students will study at Sunway, but will be awarded a degree from both institutions.
