A range of short courses and other exciting events taking place on campus. Open to everyone, from complete beginners to those with some experience. Two day courses in:

Writing Web Pages

If you want to learn how to set up a website, whether for personal or professional use, this course will get you started. Includes writing documents using HTML, formatting and editing pages and using graphics. No experience of programming is required but familiarity with the Web is an advantage. Level B course (intermediate/advanced).

STATISTICS AND STATISTICAL SOFTWARE COURSES FOR STAFF/POSTGRADUATES THROUGH THE CENTRE FOR APPLIED STATISTICS, DEPARTMENT OF MATHEMATICS AND STATISTICS

There is a course fee of £40.00 for a 2 day course to cover the course materials and refreshments and a fee of £20.00 for a 1 day course. WITTGENSTEIN READING GROUP - MONDAY MEETINGS

This term we will read Wittegnstein's Philosophical Investigations. Our aim is to read the whole book by Christmas. For the next meeting (2nd October), please read remarks between 66 and 86.
