The college, which is recognised as a leader in inclusive art education for people of all physicalities and learning abilities, wants to shout about the students' achievements.
The Annual Showcase at The Nuffield Theatre celebrates the work of final-year Creative Arts students who have the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre space in front of friends, family and members of the public.

This year’s programme explores ideas and issues of perception within the changing field of disability arts, using performance, music, dance, media and visual arts.

Diane Sammons, programme manager of the performing arts at the college, says the events will highlight Beaumont's commitment to the Arts. Everyone at Beaumont is looking forward to the events and Diane is particularly keen to encourage the public to go to the Showcase at The Nuffield. Tickets are free but must be reserved in advance by calling the college on 01524 541400.

Graeme Pyle, college Principal, says: “one of the most important aspects of the Arts Festival and Arts Showcase is that the young people are heard: "The creative arts give them a platform to express their views. These activities give them a powerful vehicle to get a message across to an audience. These stories are often untold."

Graeme adds: "Our film of last year's Nuffield show was shown at Scope's National Forum and it had a powerful impact."

The Nuffield Theatre is currently working with the college on a number of projects including Transformations, which, with Ludus Dance, supports Beaumont graduates and young dance makers.
