Chinese Ambassador visits campus

Lancaster welcomed the Chinese Ambassador Ma Zhengang and his wife to campus this month, on a special visit where they met 40 of the University's Chinese students.

The Chinese Consul General Huang Yaoxiang was also present and the party received a briefing about the University's activities in China, including the establishment of a links with Beijing University of Foreign Studies, where both the Ambassador and Consul General are Alumni, and the recent delegation to China led by the Vice-Chancellor.
