CLOSURE OF M6 sliproads M6 junction 33 - Hampson Green Railway Bridge Refurbishment.

Hampson Green Railway Bridge carries the entry and exit slip

roads for the M6 junction 33 over the West Coast Main Line near Lancaster. Work starts in October to refurbish the bridge piers and bearings and will involve overnight closures of the motorway on and off sliproads. The sliproads

will be closed between 2000hrs Saturday and 1200hrs Sunday on 5th & 6th October. A diversion route for affected traffic will be signed via A6 and M6 junction 34.The sliproads are also likely to be closed over the following 5

weekends for the same duration.
