John Dalton Medal 2001

Professor Keith Beven from the Institute of Environmental and Natural Sciences at Lancaster University, has been awarded the John Dalton Medal of the European Geophysical Society for 2001. This medal was established by the Section on Hydrological Sciences (HS) in recognition of John Dalton's significant contributions to hydrology as a science. It is reserved for individuals in recognition of their expertise in Hydrology.

Professor Beven will be presented with the medal at the Opening Ceremony of the 26th General Assembly at the NICE ACROPOLIS congress centre, Nice, France, on Sunday 25th March 2001.
